Thanks to many generous sponsors, we have reached our goal for the purchase of a Yamaha Viking for the beach team. Please join us at the event and meet the Heroes of 2016. Above are the 2015 Honorees.
Members of the Mission Bay Women’s Club flank SD Police Chief Shelley Zimmerman at one of the Club’s three summer events when they feed police, firefighters, lifeguards and park rangers — on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. The PB Town Council is a financial supporter of the events.
Councilmember Todd Gloria will address the PBTC membership at its September monthly meeting, to discuss his goals for addressing the concerns of San Diegans.
There will also be a report and discussion on Ballot Measure J, which affects the DeAnza Cove Revitalization Project, the Mission Day Park Master Plan, tidelands maintenance and the Mission Bay Park Improvement Fund. Educate yourself on this important measure, which will be on the November ballot.
The meeting takes place at 6:30 on September 21st at the Crown Point Junior Music Academy.
Pacific Beach could not operate without our Emergency Services personnel – join us in saying “Thanks!” at the community picnic on Sept. 28th. For this event we honor our first responders.
