2011 4th Annual Graffiti Paint-Out

Join us for the Pacific Beach Town Council’s 4th annual Graffiti Day – painting out graffiti throughout our community.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 2nd from 9am – 1pm. Our rain date is at the same time the following Saturday, April 9th.

We’ll provide the tools, gloves, paint, training – and all the graffiti you can imagine. All you need to do is join us to help beautify our community.

Please note: Parents must complete and sign this waiver so that their children and young adults can volunteer. Anyone under 18 years old must have this waiver signed so please be sure to bring one already completed.

A number of sponsors make this event possible and without their help we would only be able to touch a small fraction of what we’ll achieve during this event. They include:

Pacific Beach Presbyterian Church – who has graciously provided us with their facility to act as a meeting place for organizing many months in advance, staging area to collect donated supplies and get them organized in lots for volunteer teams, music, food and hospitality the day of the event. We appreciate everything PB Presbyterian has done to support this event – for the fourth year in a row!

Frazee Paint – Another major supporter every year has been Frazee Paint located on Hornblend St. at Cass St. The first year Frazee graciously donated all the paint needed for the entire event. We would’ve not been able to paint out several thousand tags without their generous support.

Ace Hardware – Each year Ace Hardware has been a generous donor of various supplies as well as giving us discounts on needed supplies.

Hammer & Nails Hardware – Each year Hammer & Nails has been a generous donor as well as giving us discounts on needed supplies.

Home Depot – Each year Home Depot on Sports Arena Blvd. has graciously donated buckets and given us discounts on purchases of supplies.

Sherwin-Williams Paint – Last year Sherwin-Williams graciously provided t-shirts for hundreds of volunteers and paint

Dunn-Edwards Paint – Last year Dunn-Edwards provided painter’s caps and paint

We look forward to working with everyone on this year’s event.
