Councilmember Faulconer helping clean up PB

Councilmember Kevin Faulconer allocated funds from his budget to secure resources that will clean Garnet Ave. from Crystal Pier to Ingraham Ave.

“I’m proud to partner with the Urban Corps of San Diego County to clean our beach community and improve the quality of life for Pacific Beach residents, businesses and visitors,” said Council President Pro Tem Kevin Faulconer. “Urban Corps, which gives young adults an opportunity to earn a high school diploma while teaching them valuable working skills, will wash sidewalks and remove graffiti, trash and weeds. I am happy to fund this program through savings from efficiencies in my office budget.”

Thank you Councilmember Faulconer for helping us achieve a CLEAN PB!

when are you planning on re-painting the sign “Welcome to Pacific Beach” that is on mission blvd as you exit I-5 south. it is long overdue and it gives people the impression we dont care what our entrance looks like. also the overgrown shrubs and weeds need to be cleaned out.

    Councilmember Kevin Faulconer,
I moved to Pacific Beach (PB) four months ago, so I am a new resident to Southern California. Previously, I was getting my BA degree in Sustainable Community Development. Currently, I am taking courses in Child Development. There are many issues that concern my about Pacific Beach and I would like to discuss them with you. I live 2 blocks from the beach and at least once a day, unless for reasons that prevent me, I am cleaning the beach from the Crystal Pier to the north side of the beach. I would also like to know when the town meetings are taking place in PB, so that I may attend, if that is possible.

If you would prefer to contact my by phone, my cell phone number is 520-302-7648.

    Thank you.
    Jo Thompson
