Decobike Stations in Pacific Beach.

The Pacific Beach Town Council, DiscoverPB and The Pacific Beach Planning Group began community meetings with Decobike over a year ago as a directive from the City of San Diego.

Decobike proposed a number of stations that removed street parking and stations directly in front or near local bike shops.   We were able to relocate some stations and also proposed other workable locations.

In early June Decobike had another meeting to propose  three additional 6 foot by 40 foot stations directly on the Boardwalk.  Station92A

All community groups were opposed to these locations.  We need the community to help oppose placing commercial bikes stations on our boardwalk. The coummunity should also support our local bike shops.

Please contact Lori Zapf  and Tom Landry who is heading up this program for the City of San Diego to voice your concerns about putting Neighborhoods First.
