PBTC Opposes Mayor’s STVR Proposal

The PB Town Council Board of Directors voted unanimously to oppose the Mayor’s STVR proposal at our July 11th Board meeting.  The proliferation of commercial hotel uses in our residential zones continues to reduce our available housing units for long-term renters and potential homeowners.  The Mayor’s proposal, which will come before San Diego City Council on July 16th, would open the flood gates to accelerated depletion of our housing stock if passed.  The City Council meeting begins at noon on Monday, July 16th, in Council Chambers, 12th floor, City Administration Building, 202 C St.  Everyone is encouraged to share any opinion you may have during public comment regarding this matter.  Reference:  Proposed Framework Fact Sheet, Proposed Regulations in Detail, July 16th City Council Agenda.  If you’d like to share your opinion with all 9 Councilmembers, here is their contact info.
