Mission Bay Park Committee Tues, Dec. 5th

Mission Bay Park Committee meeting on De Anza Revitalization Plan options will be held this Tuesday, December 5th, 6pm at Mission Bay High School.  The Project Team will present the refined Draft Concept Alternatives for revitalizing De Anza Cove.  Presentation materials from the Ad-Hoc Committee Meeting #6 on June 29, 2017 can be reviewed here.

San Diego Audubon says the City’s plans won’t protect the future of Mission Bay’s wetlands and wildlife habitat.  Their ReWild perspective on these plans can be viewed here.  You can also view the Mission Bay Gateway Plan Diagram and Reasons for Support by Scott Chipman.

2018 PBTC Installation Dinner

Get your tickets here to our 2018 PBTC Board of Directors Installation Dinner at Mission Bay Yacht Club, Saturday, January 20th, 5pm Registration and cocktails, 6pm Buffet Dinner and Program.  See flyer for more details.  Ticket Prices:  $35 by Jan. 17th, $40 at door, $300 table for ten – by Jan. 12th.  Tickets can also be purchased by check mailed to our PBTC Office.

PAESAN News Coverage 09/27

Our PAESAN 2017 event was an amazing community gathering to honor and show appreciation for our local Lifeguards, Police, Firefighters, and Park Rangers.

Honorees included:  (1) Luke Johnson, Sergeant, SDPD, (2) Richard Dhu, Park Ranger, SD Parks & Rec, (3) Glen Mackie, Captain, SD Fire-Rescue, (4) John Maher, Lifeguard II, SD Fire-Rescue, Lifeguard Division.

National Night Out in PB

National Night Out in Pacific Beach at the PB Library had 200 attendees, who were able to meet officers from our Northern Division, watch K-9 demos, and partake in numerous activities such as Tai Chi and Stranger Danger demos.

Thanks to Andie LaComb, Marcella Teran, Racheal Allen, and Christina Wainwright for organizing this great local event.
