YMCA Beach Clean Up!!!

This Saturday staff, and volunteers from the La Jolla YMCA, came together to clean Garnet Ave. From 8:00am-9:30am, volunteers filled 4 garbage bags with trash, including over 250 cigarette butts. The volunteers were thanked by locals passing by, and were even stopped to engage in conversation about how other could get involved. The YMCA is proud to help keep the streets of PB, home to the PB YMCA summer day camp, clean and safe.

Thank You YMCA!!!

PB Shore Club and The Fish Shop Beach Clean Up!

Last Saturday, March 7th, over 50 Shore Club employees, restaurant regulars, and PBTC invitees, attended our co-hosted beach clean up. After a mimosa (or 2!) and a delicious breakfast, groups went off into all directions to help pick up the streets and alleys of Pacific Beach. Some people came alone, others encouraged their friends to join and everyone came together for one great cause! After 2 hours of clean up, stretching from Felspar to PB Drive and all the way up to Dawes Ave, everyone could truly see a difference. “Thank you!” People shouted from cars and a random passerby even offered a hand. All in all, it was a terrific event! Thanks to everyone who contributed!
