Projects & Operations
If you are looking to be involved in the community on a more frequent basis, these opportunities might just be for you. The Pacific Beach Town Council always is working on an array of different projects and operations, so if you have the time, passion, and skillset for any of these activities, consider reaching out today!
Garden Gurus
This group was recently formed to tackle large and small gardening and weed abatement projects in Pacific Beach. They recently partnered with the San Diego Parks & Recreation Department to clean up and beautify the corner of Crown Point Drive and Ingraham Street. Garden Gurus meet every Thursday morning. Video Editing / Production
The Pacific Beach Town Council’s relationship with the community is valued above all else, and what more efficient way to foster that connection than through social media? However it takes a dedicated team of people who understand the algorithms, technology, and current trends, in order to ensure that the PBTC is a 21st century organization. If you have both a passion as well as a knack for video production, please reach out and contact us.
Second Saturday Cleanups
PBTC has a regularly scheduled cleanup from 9-11 am on the second Saturday each month. We’re especially focused on keeping entry points to PB free of trash so that we can create a positive first impression of our neighborhood with visitors. More info.
Landscape Architecture & Civil Engineering
Infrastructure in some parts of the community could use some more love, and so we are hoping to fill that need. There are several improvements that can be made around town but designing and planning require immense skill and patience. If you have a background in these areas, we’d appreciate your assistance in consultation and framing. Contact us.
Events & Celebrations
These volunteer opportunities are for annual events and only require volunteers for a few days out of the year. If you are looking to contribute to the community in a big way, but can only sign up for a day or two, then take a look here!
Annual Graffiti Clean Up Day
PBTC has been holding an annual Graffiti Clean Up Day each May for many years. We need volunteers who can do mapping of graffiti locations in advance of the event, as well as Graffiti Buster team members on the day of the event. More info.
Concerts on the Green
Our traditional summer concert series at Kate Sessions Park will be here before we know it, and we always need extra help on those Sundays in July/August. Let us know if you’d like to be part of PB’s favorite outdoor concert series! More info.
P.A.E.S.A.N.
Police And Emergency Services Appreciation Night is an annual tradition for more than 40 years in PB, honoring the first responders who serve our community. We need numerous volunteers each year for the day of the event, and for advance planning. More info.
